My method for seeing what people were recommending without clicking the link was to hover over the "so-and-so" recommended your post and then see what the link in the bottom left of the browser would say.

I had a solution for that as well: press and hold the link until the options menu pops up. URL of the recommended post is at the top.

Don't get me wrong, though. This new update is great and I'm very glad to have it.
